Abstract

The study, entitled The Role of TBM Luru Ilmu as a Source of Learning Communities in Bantul Yogyakarta aims to determine the condition of TBM Luru to determine the role of Science and TBM Luru Ilmu as community learning resources. The method used is a qualitative description. Data collection methods used were observation, interview and documentation. For data analysis techniques researchers used a model that includes Miles and Hubermen data reduction, data presentation and with verification. While the data analysis methods used are Kedibilitas test consisting of increasing persistence, triangulation and memberchek, Testing Transferability, Depenability Test, and Test Konsfirability. The study said that the condition of TBM Luru Ilmu strongly supports the community as a learning resource. In addition to reading material, in the TBM Luru Ilmu there are also other supporting facilities such as internet, play areas for children, gazebo and smart motors. Science Luru TBM had four roles as community learning resources such as First, as a place of learning / teaching for children. TBM Luru Ilmu has an important role as a place to learn / teach for Science in the TBM Luru there are facilities that support the TBM Luru Ilmu viable as a place of learning and community learning resources. Second, as the entertainment or travel books. The book is a storehouse of knowledge. So in TBM Luru Ilmu is often used as an entertainment community by reading books such as light novels, stories, magazines and much more. Third, as a source of inspiration for the TBM Luru Ilmu also has the role of public inspiration. Studies with the TBM Luru Ilmu people often take advantage of the existing books on the TBM Luru Ilmu as a source of inspiration. For example, there are children who come to the TBM Luru Science, and then he poured what he saw into the story, there are also after reading the book in the TBM Luru Ilmu and practice what they read. Fourth, as a community information center. As an information center in the TBM Luru Ilmu is where the TBM Luru Ilmu can help communities and partnerships with the outside world.
