Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran orang tua bekerja serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat orang tua bekerja terhadap Pendidikan Agama Islam anak di Dukuh Jetis Desa Tirtomartani Kalasan. Penelitian inimenggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan menggunakan informan sebagai sember datanya. Informan terdiri atas Kepala desa dan perangkatnya, Kepala Dukuh dan perangkatnya, serta orang tua. Metode pengumpulan data dengan observasi, angket dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa kegiatan agama, teman bergaul, serta kondisi keluarga yang agamis merupakan faktor pendukung bagi orang tua bekerja dalam pendididikan Agama Islam anak. Adapun faktor keharusan bekerja dan keterbatasan pengetahuan agama orang tua menjadi faktor penghambat peran orang tua bekerja dalam pendidikan Agama Islam anak.
