Abstract

Hijaiyah letters is the letter used to writing of the holy book the Al-Qur'an. In learning hijaiyah letters, childrens still difficult to learn it, so necessary learning methods to make children more interested in knowing hijaiyah. Interactive learning using electronic media such as the educational game is still a bit encountered, particularly the introduction of hijaiyah letter game and some application introduction hijaiyah letter are available, but limited by the operating system used by user. This research is using waterfall metode. Technology which allows to build web-based applications in this research is HTML5 because HTML5 is opensource technology and made that applications can run in all platform with that supports browser. In addition, to run it does not require installation process. To run application exactly by accessing the website pages. Results of this research are Hijaiyah Match game can run on various operating systems with a browser that supports HTML5 and based on the results of the usability questionnaire, the result show that this application helps children more understand hijaiyah letters.
