Abstract

This study aims to 1) evaluating the management of libraries in SMAN 1 Yogyakarta city by national standars library which issued the national library indonesia year 2011 2) identify obstacles that faced by schools within the library to meet the national standard guidelines issued by the national libraries that indonesian republic in 2011. This research is a descriptive qualitative study with four informants, to obtain complete data, the authors use data collection methods of observation, interviews and documentation analysis of the research data that the standars used by SMAN 1 Yogyakarta is compliance with national standard library. The data validity test of this research uses triangulation method and the result of the analysis showed that the standard libraries that are used by the of SMAN 1 Yogyakarta are in accordance with the national standard library.
