Abstract
Bimbingan diperlukan atau diperuntukkan setiap manusia tanpa kecuali, baik anak normal atau penyandang cacat. Anak penyandang cacat mental adalah sebagai suatu kelompok yang juga mempunyai hak untuk memperoleh pendidikan sebagaimana anak normal. Anak penyandang cacat mental tidak bisa dipungkiri keberadaannya, karena mereka juga manusia hanya saja kurang mendekatri sempurna. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field research). Metode pengumpulan datanya melalui observasi, interview, dan dokumentasi, sedang analisa data menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis dan diolah menggunakan pola berfikir induktif. Bimbingan keagamaan (Islam) terhadap penyandang cacat mental di PRSBG “Kartini” Temanggung ternyata berhasil, dari sebelum bisa sholat menjadi bisa sholat, dari tidak tahu berdo’a menjadi bisa, dari belum mengenal sopan santun menjadi berlaku sopan santun terhadap orang lain, dari belum sadar mengikuti kegiatan kerohanian menjadi sadar.
