Abstract

In recent years, information systems spread in various aspects in the community. Hospital became one of the users of the information system. One common information systems used by hospitals is Hospital Management Information System (HMIS). UMMI Khasanah, Hospital for Mothers and Kids, is one of those that has been using the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS). Every day, a lot of data is processed using the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) by the hospital staff. The data that is increasing gradually has not been processed optimally. If the head of the hospital will do the controlling of overall activities of the hospital accurately, relevantly and in the real time, the data cannot be optimally presented by the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS). From such a situation, it can be concluded that the hospital need to develop the Hospital Management Information System to solve the problems. The further development of Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) is Dashboard Information Systems. Dashboard Information Systems is a development of the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) based on the criteria that are determined by the head of the hospital. It is presented in visual form, on line, relevantly and can be easily understood by the head of the hospital. It is also suitable to handle the problems at UMMI Khasanah, Hospital for Mother and Kids. By using Dashboard Information System, it can help the hospital administrators to perform projection in monitoring hospital services in order to improve the quality of service. Based on system testing that has been done, result 100 % respondent said intense agree to dashboard information system, 51,7% said agree to interface system, 60% said agree to benefit of dashboard information system.
