Abstract

This study aims to 1) develop learning outcomes assessment instrument science SMP / MTs class VII on the material characteristics of substances based curriculum in 2013 2) determine the quality of learning outcomes assessment instrument science SMP / MTs class VII on the material characteristics of substances based curriculum in 2013 3) study the response of a science teacher the learning outcomes assessment instrument science SMP / MTs class VII on the material characteristics of substances based curriculum 2013. This study is a model of R & D to adapt procedural development research procedures by Thiagarajan with 4-D models, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Dissemination. This study was conducted to develop at this stage restricted to limited testing. The research instrument used in the form of quality assessment form. Expert assessment instrument for the evaluation is made using a Likert scale in the form of cheeklist. The instruments used to study the response of a science teacher at a scale that is using a Likert scale responses were made in the form cheeklist. The results of the study in the form of quantitative data is converted into qualitative data, and then analyzed in accordance with the guidelines criteria for determining the quality of the assessment categories of learning outcomes assessment instrument science. The results of this study are the result of learning science instruments SMP / MTs class VII on the material characteristics of substances based curriculum in 2013 obtained through a process of development. The quality of learning outcomes assessment instruments science according to expert evaluation is Very Good (SB) with a value of 3.58. Science teacher's response to science learning outcomes assessment instruments developed are Strongly Agree (SS) with a score value of 3.39. The results of this study indicate that the learning outcomes assessment instruments developed science can be used as a guideline for the assessment.
