Abstract

Microseismic measurement is one of the most popular methods to predict damage level of region. The technique has been used at 34 points measurement Opak Fault in Bantul,Yogyakarta, to obtain ground dominant-frequency value ground, and its amplification, the Peak Ground Acceleration (PGA) value, and, determing to the damage level of the area. Based on the research, the dominant frequency of the area ranged from 1,56 to 7,5 Hz, and the PGA value ranged from 140,179 Gal – 308,523 Gal and the damage risk level of the area has been divided into first high risk, second high risk, third high risk, and very high risk which categorized into very-high one level.
