Abstract

This study is based on the fact that are many natural phenomenon such as earthquakes in Pacitan Subdistrict. As what happened at 1859 year strength of 7 SR an 2013 year strenggth of 5,5 SR. The aims of this study finding out the identification of potential seismic hazard based on soil amplification factor (A) and sediment thickness (H) using microtremor in Pacitan Subdistrict, East Java. The method of this study conducted by using seismograph TDL 303S on 26 measurement points with grid space 2 km. Data from measurement was analyzed using Horizontal to Vertical Spectral Ratio (HVSR) method to obtain predominant frecuency (fo) and amplification faktor (A). The result of research showed that seismic hazard potential identification in Pacitan subdistrict indicated low seismic hazard potential obtained in Ploso Village, Bolosingo Village, Banjarsari Village, Mentoro Village, Sirnoboyo Village, Kayen Village, Sukoharjo Village, Kembang Village dan Dadapan Village. Moderate seismic hazard potential obtained in Bangunsari Village, Purworejo Village, Sambong Village, Karangnongko Village, Sumberharjo Village, Ngadirejan Village, Menadi Village and Sedeng Village. High seismic hazard potential obtained in Sidoharjo Village, Arjowinangun Village, Kelurahan Baleharjo Village, Pucangsewu Village and Tanjungsari Village. Very high seismic hazard potential obtained in Kelurahan Pacitan Village, Semanten Village, Widoro Village and Nanggungan Village.
