Abstract

This research means to diliver a prototype as website to be media promotion in SMKN 5 library yogyakarta,hope because of it.the promotion SMKN 5 library yogyakarka will be easy,effective, and efficient. Beside that,the menu that has showed,user can know more about it,also exploit the library service.including the service inside of library or using webside.the method that use this research is the quality research using closer in SDLC(system development live cycle).the subject research is coordinator library of SMKN 5 Yogyakarta.the way how to collect some datas is observasi,interview, and documentation. Based on this research's menu and contents of webside as SMKN 5 Yogyakarta needs is menu home,event,register,OPAC,logout,library's profile(the description profile SMKN 5 library),library service(the discription and some informations using library service), guest books , photo gallery , website polls , news search , digital libraries , chat pustawan , student work ( student work load 5 SMK Yogyakarta satisfying the majors are taken ) , the announcement of the library , related links , and website visitor stats . Based on the research that has been done then the library SMKN 5 Yogyakarta should always update the information contained in it , and promote it through social networking websites or other media . Furthermore, researchers advise that the library can evaluate the content or menus that have been generated on the website , so you will know the menu / content anywhere that is not necessary , and the menu / specific content to be added .
