Abstract
Prophet learning is the learning process that is bound to the context of Arab society. Therefore, this learning requires a reconstruction process of learning to become shalihun likulli zaman wa makan. Similarly, in Indonesia, Islamic education which oriented to the learning theories from West should not necessarily be taken for granted Different learning contexts require different adjustments. Reconstruction of the Prophet learning showed a screening process to value and learning context. Islamic education in Indonesia should be able to provide exemplary at the forefront. Educators who are supposed to guide and to provide a sense of comfort, recently they are only considered as a facilitator. The prophet learning put more on active and guided learning. Thus, the educator should be a good .figure who guides students well and gives a sense of comfort which can be an alternative solution. Exemplary crisis that occurred in education is caused by the weakening of the role and function of the educator. The values in the learning of the Holy Prophet which has been able to change the Arabic society become the best solution to the problem of education in Indonesia.
