Abstract

This study aims to explore and understand what actually perceived and experienced by a person who is experiencing Internet addiction in the DSM IV R. The study also trying to uncover the factors as well as any impact arising krom the syndrome. This study used qualitative methods to study approach phenomenology. Collecting data in this study using the method interviews and observation. Analysis of the data used is the data organization and coding. This study was conducted in 3 students who indicated experiencing internet addiction. The results of this study showed the Internet Addictions on student Begin meet the need for information and communication. Internet an option which is considered to meet these needs effectively. use internet easily, making the students compulsively access particular site. The nature of the internet addiction arises when users experience feeling uncomfortable, anxious and restless if not able to access The the internet. Tolerance use of time in accessing the Internet also increased each day in order to achieve the same satisfaction with the ever felt previously. Use of the Internet tends to be used to escape from the problems and relieve negative feelings such as guilt, anxiety, depression and so forth. Externally, the factors of facilities and infrastruktur allowed to access the Internet, such as the nearest support, types of gadgets, modems, pulse and WiFi. These external factors are triggering factor only and is not a major factor in the Internet Addictions. The impact of the Internet Addictions ie disruption of the relationship interpersonal social environment, the cost of excessive Internet use, performance is decreasing as a result of not be able to follow the course well, tends to be a lack of sleep, causing excessive fatigue and lowered immune internet users.
