Abstract

Sonobudoyo State Museum was the Culture Ministry unit in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta government, which managing the objects with scientific culture values, includes all collection of cultural development and educational guidance. It also responsible for collecting, caring for, preserving, carrying out research, library services, educational cultural guidance and presenting the object collections of Sonobudoyo State Museum. QR stands for Quick Response or a Quickly Respond which is suitable with the purpose, to convey information quickly and get a quick response. Unlike barcodes, which only store information horizontally, the QR code capable storing information both horizontally and vertically, therefore QR code can hold more information automatically than a barcode. In order to read a QR Code, A QR code scanner must be installed on the mobile phone device. This research used observation data collection method, study of literature, interviews and some materals from the internet. Meanwhile the development method use the Prototyping development system. Prototyping steps can be repeated depending on the functionality of the system to determine the meet of requirements. QR Code Scanner application was designed to have the features of Android-based QR Code Scanner, bookmarks, about Sonobudoyo, about applications and 3D Rotate to display collection photos. Alpha test results shows all processes in the application were fully work functionally. The Functional Beta test acquired 100% respondents said "Yes", 0% respondents said "no". Beta test on the system interface aqcuired 66.4 score from the 54.41- 67.20 rating scales which means satisfied. Chat Conversation End
