Abstract

The aims of this research were to develop a Contextual Approach- Based Module on Material Archea and Eubacteria For Senior High School Grade X and to determined its quality. This research was categorited as Research and Development (R & D). The procedure applied in this research was ADDIE models, through three stages: Analysis, Design, and Development. The isntrument used in the research were quistionaires. Assessments of the module’s quality was given by media expert, biology expert, three peer reviewers, teachers, and students. The assessment score was generated by converting quantitative data into qualitative data. The results showed that the module was categorized as very good with an average score is 400.96 and 86.23% ideal percentage. The assessment from expert, peer reviewers, teachers, and students gave a percentage 82.31% (good), 88.22% (very good), 90.52% (very good), and 82.32% (good). Thus, The Contextual Approach- Based Module on Material Archea and Eubacteria For Senior High School Grade X can be used as an alternative for self-teaching materials for high school students X grade.
