Abstract

This research purposes to (1) developing physics pocket book based on inquiry learning as self learning resource of students of Senior High School on the topic of kinematic of vertical movement of grade X, (2) knowing quality of physics pocket book based on inquiry learning as self learning resource of students of Senior High School on the topic of kinematic of vertical movement of grade X, (3) knowing students response toward physics pocket book based on inquiry learning as self learning resource of students of Senior High School on the topic of kinematic of vertical movement of grade X. This research is kind of Research and Development (R&D) with a procedural model. Development procedures based on Research and Development (R&D) procedure by Puslitjaknov Team that adapted on Borg and Gall’s research procedure with development steps such as (1) doing product analysis that will be developed, (2) developing preliminary product, (3) experts validation and revision, (4) small scale field test and product revision, and (5) large scale field and final product. Collecting data techniq a non test. Research instruments are developed by such as validation sheet, appraisal sheet and student response. The analyzing data technique is done by changing the quantitative data into qualitative data. This research had producted of physics pocket book based on inquiry learning as self learning resource of students of Senior High School on the topic of kinematic of vertical movement of grade X. Based on appraisal of media expert, material expert, and physics teacher, physics pocket book based on inquiri learning has average score 3,40; 3,72; and 3,45 with very good quality and for the result students response toward physics pocket book based on inquiry learning has the score for small scale field test is 2,91 and large scale field test is 2,99 with criteria is agree.
