Abstract

Needs of people about communication and information always be increased. People do not just use the phone as a media phone and sending short messages. In the modern era, people use mobile phones like a computer. Mobile phones with computer capabilities is often called a smartphone. Besides the usefulness of smartphones to call and send messages, smartphones are also used to do some job, school task, internet and other work that in past it only be done by a computer device. Smartphone is currently the most widely used by users is a smartphone with android operating system. Along with the increasing use of smartphones, especially Android-based smartphones, also increase the need for the ability of a smartphone users perform a function to help users, one of which is the need for the user to print a document to the printer. This application is built to help users of Android-based smartphones to print a document or file from the smartphone to a printer. The benefits of this app are perceived by users is that they do not have to move the files they want printed to the computer. Another advantage of this application is it can be implemented without having to connect to the Internet and without the need to have a printer with wifi capabilities which are relatively more expensive. Based on the results of testing the functionality of the system showed that 98,18% of users said that functionality of the system has been running well and 1,82% of respondents said that functionality of the system is not running properly. While usability testing calculation of the total score of the test system interface it got score of 44.375 on a scale of 50. This score is in the range 42-50 value (Very Satisfied) which means that the respondents were very satisfied with the system interface. Therefore, this interface is able to implemented in the system.
