Abstract

This research aims to test the extent of political communications strategy candidates who won the legislative election in 2014. This research aims to identify and describe the communication strategy of politics. Qualitative research using the basis of theory used in this research is a political and strategic communications for political campaigns and competing candidates. This research with the title, "Political Communication Strategy by the Legislative Candidates at the general election 2014" uses a Descriptive Qualitative. This study aims to describe the process that is performed by one of the candidates for the general election in 2014. Take Rasmani, S.H, as the research’s objects, because she is one of the competent cadres in Tuban. She is recommended by the leadership council of the National Democratic Party regional branch of Tuban, East Java. The main conclusion of this reaearch is how Rasmani, SH , which is one of the candidates for the parlement (DPRD) from the Nasdem party for region 1 Tuban. He tend to use political communication startegy , one of the startegy was going door to door to talk and meet the people who would give their vote. Other than tobe voted by the people in Tuban, this is also one of the political education so that no golput and the people didn’t recieve any money from the candidates.
