Abstract

This research aim to describe the factor of organization culture in shaping the corporate image. Identity which a factor of organization cutlture is a means to recognize an individual or group of individuals or other groups. In its application in the company or organization, identity becomes one of paramount importance, one of which is the formation of the image of the company that owns the identity. Shirley Harrison mentions that the company's image can be seen on several factors including, Personality, Reputation, Value, and Corporate Identity. This is the basis why the identity of the company is one of the important things in image formation. Identity itself is one factor or a part of organizational culture, in other words the organizational culture to be important in the formation of the image of an organization or a company. Several major companies in Indonesia have made use the factor of organization’s culture in shaping the corporate image, including PT Telkom, Bringin Life, Bank BCA, Bank Mandiri, including Taspen. PT TASPEN is one of the companies involved in financial services, as distributor of the Civil Service pension funds, state-owned enterprises and enterprises that have cooperated. PT TASPEN with its status as distributor of the Civil Service pension funds, state enterprises, and enterprises can be interpreted to have its own consumers and to be sure. The purpose of this study was to determine how the organization of cultural factors shaping the image of a company, especially Taspen which incidentally already has its own consumer and sure. Based on the analysis of in-depth interviews, observation, and study documents on the subjects in this study, it can be concluded that Taspen still requires the image. Corporate identity and communication performances which factors of organization culture in Taspen has been conditioned in order to form the image of the company. -value Value of organizational culture, embodied in the Corporate Identity. Communication performances in PT TASPEN is lead to the establishment of corporate image.
