Abstract

This research aim to describe how patterns of interaction in CSR community developtment in Borobudur Village. Borobudur Temple Tourism Park Ltd. (BTTP) is a company engaged services to preserve and utilize Borobudur attraction for the general public. although it is a big company, but it can not stand alone without the support of other parties, especially the surrounding community. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the company is a unity and mutual support to each other. In emplementation, CSR not only has the benefit of maintaining the relationship between companies and stakeholders, but also maintain the continuity of the company in the long term. Moreover, CSR related to sustainable community developtment and in the long term. Formulation of the problem in this research is how the interaction patterns of CSR activities of BTTP towards community enpowerment around Borobudur. The method used by the researcgers us a qualitative descriptive with the subject of Public Relations of BTTP and communities around the area Borobudur temple implementing CSR activities. In this study, researchers tried to examine how patterns of interaction between its public relations and surrounding communities in Borobudur area to produce a successful CSR activities. CSR activities can be run well because of the pattern of interaction between companies and communities. The result of this research is CSR community empowerment by BTTP uses interaction patterns that establish a dialouge with the public opinion leaders in order to more easily convey information about the activities that they will do. Community enpowerment CSR activities undertaken by BTTP arguably acceptable in society, a sustainable and in accordance with aspects of CSR, namely triple bottom line. CSR is expected to established good relations between the company and the community in the long term and mutually benefit each other.
