Abstract

[ENGLISH] This study aims to determine how the image of psychological and what factors influence the psychological condition of antepartum and postpartum, as well as its effect on infant care after birth. T he research design is qualitative study with case study approach. Data collection using interviews (semi-structured) and observation. This research was conducted on three pregnant women who live in the village of Temuwuh. Results of the study showed that pregnancy affects to the antepartum mother so it appears the various processes of mental or psychological description such as physical, emotional, behavioral, cognitive, and hope. But after postpartum or the birth of a baby also raises various problems in the mother that appear mental processes such as emotional, behavioral, cognitive and hope. Factors affecting the psychological overview of antepartum mother and postpartum are conflict in marriage, health, physical, economic, employment, culture, social support, and social relationships. Psychological overview of antepartum mother and postpartum affect treatment in infants born to mothers so that they appear mental processes associated with the care of the baby as emotions, behavior and cognition. Keywords: Psychological image, antepartum, postpartum [INDONESIA] Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran psikologis dan faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi kondisi psikologis ibu jelang melahirkan dan pasca melahirkan, serta pengaruhnya terhadap pengasuhan bayi setelah melahirkan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara (semi terstruktur) dan observasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap tiga orang ibu hamil yang tinggal di desa Temuwuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kehamilan mempengaruhi ibu jelang melahirkan sehingga muncul berbagai proses mental atau gambaran psikologis seperti fisik, emosi, perilaku, kognitif, dan harapan. Namun pasca melahirkan atau lahirnya bayi juga menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan pada ibu sehingga muncul proses mental seperti emosi, perilaku, kognitif dan harapan. Faktor yang mempengaruhi gambaran psikologis ibu jelang melahirkan dan pasca melahirkan yaitu konflik dalam perkawinan, kesehatan, fisik, ekonomi, pekerjaan, budaya, dukungan sosial, dan hubungan sosial. Gambaran psikologis ibu jelang melahirkan dan pasca melahirkan mempengaruhi perlakuan ibu pada bayi yang dilahirkan sehingga terjadi proses mental terkait dengan pengasuhan bayi seperti emosi, perilaku dan kognitif.
