Abstract

Public transportations are needed for citizen to travel to some destination. In a city required network public transportation that can serve citizen so that they can reach all of corners of the city more easily. Yogyakarta city has eight Trans Jogja bus routes, six city bus routes, and taxi which operated daily. The lack of information and the many of alternative transportation modes, sometimes made citizen confused to decide transportation choices which suitable as needed. Therefore, then be made a system that could recommending citizen to decide transportation modes and integrated modes of transportation which suitable using collaborative filtering method. Collaborative Filtering is a method of item filtering by giving value as comparison among items. The values obtained from the opinion is rating. So that, this method could give recommendation for public passengers. This application has been made android-based with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method. This Application has transportation modes search feature based on origin point and destination point which inputted by user. The information presented in the form of transportation modes choices that through the user’s route choice by the highest order is the best recommendation for user. Based on the result functional testing of system 93% of respondents agreed that the application is made to function as it should. Based on the result of interface system testing, shows 30% of respondents strongly agreed, 66,5% of respondents agreed, 3,5% of respondents disagreed, and 0% of respondents strongly disagreed.
