Abstract

The level of success in fiscal decentralization measured according to the high and low ratio of the Local Revenue (LR). The higher the value of LR, the more independent the area as well. This study aimed to analyze the effect of macroeconomic variables to LR. Macroeconomic variables that I use is the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), population, General Allocation Fund (GAF) and Domestic Investment (DCI). In conducting the analysis, the author uses panel data regression methods by using the theoretical approach of sharia economics and public economics. The results showed that the best model used in this study is a random effect models. The results from the simultaneous significance test is all independent variables simultaneously significant effect on the dependent variable. The value of determination coefficient was 0.8998, which means that the independent variables are able to explain the dependent variable variation of 89.98%.
