Abstract

Playing games is one of the most favorite activities of some people, as the development of technology, evolve the sophistication of gaming also. Hence the need for increasingly sophisticated gaming device used for playing games is increasing. RAM (Random Access Memory) is one of the essential tools to support heavy game so that it can run smoothly. Most gamers immediately install the latest version of the game in their laptop without seeing the specifications sufficient to play the game, then the required standard reference memory usage on the game. This research uses descriptive quantitative approach in central tendency and dispersion. Central tendency is used to determine the concentration of data aimed at determining the reference standard memory usage Game PES and dispersion to determine the distribution of the data. A total of four types of game PES and four different types of laptops will be given a light load, and then the weight will be taken log memory usage of each load and then analyzed using analysis applications central tendency and dispersion Based on test results of PES game that uses the lowest memory is PES 2013, while the value 266.175MB PES game that uses the highest memory is PES 2016, with a value 392.46MB. Standard reference memory usage core i5 laptop AMD's Ati radeon 2013 is 258 925 PES, PES 2014 is 417.445, PES 2015 is 383 585, and PES 2016 is 365 935. Standard reference memory usage laptop core i5 740M NVidia for PES 2013 is 283.8, 371.44 PES 2014, PES 2015 is 354.97, and PES 2016 is 361.3. Standard reference use laptop memory core Core i7 Nvidia 430M for PES 2013 is 290 075, 384 305 PES 2014, PES 2015 is 363.34, and PES 2016 is 404 205. Standard reference memory usage Laptop Core i7 Nvidia 745M for PES 2013 is 232.87, PES 2014 was 370 475, PES 2015 is 344.62, and PES 2016 is 438.4.
