Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out the perceptions of the nurses toward of Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (TBM) PKK in the Local General Hospital of Sleman Regency focused on library materials (collection), services, and infrastructure. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research instrument is the interview guides were prepared based on the object of research problems. Data analysis using data reduction, data presentation, and then drawn conclusions. Test the validity of research data using a triangulation method, the extension of observation, and membercheck. The results of this study indicate that the perception of library materials (collection) of Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (TBM) PKK which is generally the response of the informants regarding the relevance of collection bervarian but incomplete. Oriented to the needs of users, the collection suit the needs of users and there are many different variants of the book. Completeness collection of many kinds of variants of the book but a collection of the nursing need plus more. Recency of the collections, less update the collection. Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (TBM) PKK cooperation with government agencies. Perceptions of Service Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (TBM) PKK is informant has responded that the simplicity of the service from registration to manufacture cards easy and direct lending.
