Abstract

This research is aim to know the relationship of social-supporting and positive thinking in self-efficacy of the senior high school’s students in state school of Magelang city. The subject of this research was all of the senior high school’s students in state school of Magelang city that is 458 students. In this research, the technique of getting sample used nonprobability sampling (quota sampling) technique. In addition, the method of collecting data used self-efficacy scale, socialsupporting scale, and positive thinking scale. The data analysis was used by analysis technique of two pedictor regression. The result of this research shows the positive relationship between social-supporting and positive thinking in self-afficacy students significantly. It is shown by coefficient = 0,663 with p = 0,000, therefore hypotheses is accepted. The affective contribution of social-supporting in self-efficacy of the senior high school’s students are 24,8%, meanwhile the affective contribution of positive thinking in self-efficacy of the senior high school’s students are 40,2%.
