Abstract

KHOLIFATUT DINIAH. The Effectiveness of Confrontation Technical Training to increase the ability of social competence of guidance and counseling teacher with autism students in Yogyakarta. Thesis. Magister Program. Islamic Teaching Department. Concentration on Islamic Guidance and Counseling. Islamic State University of Sunan Kalijaga. The Research aims to provide confrontation technical training to increase the ability of social competence of guidance and counseling teachers with autism students in Yogyakarta. The ability of social competence of guidance and counseling teachers with autism students in Yogyakarta increased after confrontation technical training. This research is experimental determination of the subjects using purpose sampling technique based on low and medium score in scale competence, ten guidance and counseling teacher with autism students in Yogyakarta. Data analysis using Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. Collecting data using a scale of social competence of guidance and counseling teacher. The results show that the effectiveness of the confrontation technical training research was effective to increase social competence of guidance and counseling teacher with autistim students in Yogyakarta. It can be seen from the output statistical calculation nonparametris Wilcoxon Ranks Test for social competence guidance and counseling teachers with autism students with the result p = 0.005 0.05 and value Z of -2.803, it means that social competence score increased from before treatment and after treatment.
