Abstract

This research aimed to 1) develop the practical tools and guide book of Venturimeter in fluid learning for student SMA/MA grade XI, 2) knowing the quality of practical tools and guide book of Venturimeter in fluid learning for student SMA/MA grade XI based on assesment response of subject matter expert, media experts, and physics teacher SMA/MA, 3) knowing the response of student and enforceability of Venturimeter as practical tools. This research is R&D research with procedural model four-D that adapts the research and development prosedure according to Thiagarajan and Semmel, the steps are 1) Define 2) Design 3) Develop 3) Disseminate. This research was conducted until Develop. The research instrument is quality assesment forms for media experts, subject matter expert, and physics teacher SMA/MA, using Likert scale that was made in checklist form. The instrument for student is student response scale using Likert scale that was made in checklist form, and instrument for legibility response using Guttman scale was made in checklist form. Instrument for enforceability of practical tools for observer response was made in checklist form. The result assesment converted into a mean score and then compared with the classification table of qualitative criteria assesment product and student response. The result of this research is practical tools and guide book of Venturimeter in fluid learning for student SMA/MA grade XI. The practical tools and guide book of Venturimeter has a very good (SB) quality according to media experts, subject matter expert, and physics teacher SMA/MA. The student response for the practical tools and guide book of Venturimeter has a agree response (SS), while a obstacle at enforceability of practical tools had less stable power supply for the last student group, caused by practical tools used for 45 minutes without a break. The result of this research shows that the practical tools and guide book of Venturimeter can be used as one of medium learning for student SMA/MA grade XI.
