Abstract

Improving the quality of education has become a claim which is unavoidable in global competition, furthermore in the context of learning on Fiqh at Governmental Elementary School. Innovation of efforts is carried out through the study material development standards and basic competencies which contained in Content Standards. The material of Fiqh should be developed in a framework that is appropriate to the characteristics of psychological development of learners. However, the findings of this study indicate that the material developed jurisprudence in Islamic elementary schools are not all in accordance and in line with the developmental needs of learners whosethe concrete operational thinking. Therefore, this study is as one of the basic recommendations of the material improvement in Governmental Elementary School at Fiqh selectively. Keywords: Fiqh, Learning, Conrete Operational *** Peningkatan mutu pendidikan sudah menjadi tuntutan yang tidak bisa dihindari dalam persaingan global, begitu pula dalam konteks pembelajaran Fiqih di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Upaya inovasi pengembangan materi dilakukan melalui telaah standar kompetensi dan kompetensi dasar yang terdapat dalam Standar Isi. Materi Fiqih hendaknya dikembangkan dalam kerangka pikir yang sesuai dengan karakteristik perkembangan psikologis peserta didik. Namun, temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa materi Fiqih yang dikembangkan di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah tidak semuanya sesuai dan sejalan dengan kebutuhan perkembangan peserta didik yang cenderung taraf berpikirnya masih operasional konkret. Untuk itu, penelitian ini sebagai salah satu dasar rekomendasi penyempurnaan terhadap materi Fiqih di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah secara selektif. Kata kunci: Fiqih, Pembelajaran, Operasional Konkret
