Abstract

Decentralization is the delegation of authority to regions in their own household affairs to improve public infrastructure and facilities for the community in promoting economic growth and prosperity. However, decentralization has created fiscal imbalances in various regions of Indonesia because each region has different financial and resource potentials. The improvement of infrastructure and public facilities in the regions can be known through the amount of capital expenditure. This study aims to determine the effect of Economic Growth, Local Revenue (PAD), and General Allocation Fund (DAU) to Capital Expenditure in the province of Indonesia in 2016 either partially or simultaneously. The population in this study is all provinces in Indonesia in 2016. This study uses secondary data in the form of Realization Report of APBD Provincial Government of Indonesia in 2016. Testing in research using classical assumption test then tested hypothesis with multiple linear regression t test, F test, and coefficient of determination. Analyzer tool in this research use SPSS 23 software. Based on result of research can be concluded that partially variable of Economic growth have positive effect and significant to Capital Expenditure, PAD growth have positive significant effect to Capital Expenditure. While DAU growth has a significant negative effect on Capital Expenditure. Simultaneously variable of Economic Growth, PAD growth, and DAU growth have significant effect to capital expenditure.
