Abstract

Service is an effort undertaken by a particular institution to provide ease of assistance to a person in order to achieve certain goals. The role of service is vital in the way of administration because it can have an impact on other aspects of government. With the sophistication of information technology, services need to be harmonized, in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. Service queue application is an information system for managing services, from service requests to services completed by service personnel. The Service Queue Application of Administration is developed using a web-based PHP programming language and uses the PostgreSQL database linked through the web service. The system development method used in this research is Extreme Programming. This method prioritizes the client as a resource person who understands the system to be created. From interviews with clients, will be obtained system development needs (user story). Stages in this method include: planning, design, coding, and testing. The Service Queue Application has several features including: sending service request, managing service requests, forward for service requests, and viewing requests details with activity log of requests facility. With this Service Queue Application can streamline the administration of the service and make it easier for applicants to request service requests.
