Abstract

This study aims to determine the acceptance of library otomation systems "eLibrary automation system" in Muhammadiyah University Of Yogyakarta. This study uses a quantitative approach. The variables in this study consists of two independent variables include the variable ease of use, and the dependent variable is Acceptance of IT. Methods of data collection in this study using the questionnaires, documentation and interviews. Data analysis using grand mean dan correlation product moment were processed using SPSS version 21 for Windows for windows. The results showed that the library automation system eLibrary was acceptable in the Library of Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta. This is evidenced by the score of mean; variable of ease got score 3,413; variable of usefulness got score 3,263; and variable of acceptance got score 3,041. Beside of that, from the research is understood that there is influence of ease factor and usefulness of acceptance. Ease and usefulness factor positively affect the acceptance factor of library automation system eLibrary in Library University Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. It measured by comparing the t of measurement and t table (4.648 1,699). Beside that score of R (0,789) showed that the degree of correlation is high. As for suggestion from the result of this research that need to be held more research about influencing acceptance of library automation system besides ease, usefulness. In addition it needs attention to continuously improve the quality of application of information technology in this case library automation system, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerimaan sistem otomasi perpustakaan ELibrary di Perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Variabel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel bebas meliputi variabel kemudahan (ease of use), variabel kebermanfaatan (usefulness); serta satu variabel terikat yaitu variabel Penerimaan terhadap IT (Acceptance of IT). Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angkat/kuesioner, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Analisis data menggunakan mean dan uji korelasi product moment yang diolah dengan menggunakan program SPSS version 21 for Windows for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem otomasi perpustakaan eLibrary sudah dapat diterima di Perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Penilaian tersebut bisa dilihat dengan nilai mean; pada variabel kemudahan sebesar 3,413; variabel kebermanfaatan sebesar 3,263; dan pada variabel penerimaan 3,041. Selain itu, hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi dari faktor kemudahan dan kebermanfaatan terhadap penerimaan. Faktor kemudahan dan kebermanfaatan berpengaruh secara positif terhadap faktor penerimaan sistem otomasi perpustakaan eLibrary di Perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan t hitung yang lebih besar dari t tabel (4.648 > 1,699). Selain itu nilai R (0,789) juga menunjukkan bahwa korelasi berada pada derajat yang kuat. Adapun saran dari hasil penelitian ini yaitu perlu diadakan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai faktor yang mempengaruhi penerimaan sistem otomasi perpustakaan selain faktor kemudahan, kebermanfaatan. Selain itu diperlukan perhatian untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas penerapan teknologi informasi yang dalam hal ini sistem otomasi perpustakaan.
