Abstract

This study aims to determine the behavior of the librarian contained in the animated film "Ipin & Ipin episode seronoknya membaca and kisah raja pemburu". This research is a qualitative research using semiotic approach. Data collection techniques used are observations by watching the movie carefully and then take a screenshot of the scene. Data analysis technique used is Pierce semiotics analysis that is meaning triangle theory. In this study obtained the results that the behavior of librarians contained in the movie "Upin & Ipin Episode Seronoknya Membaca and Episode Kisah Raja Pemburu" is divided into three behaviors, among others: 1) social behavior of librarians in the community include impatient, irritable, lack of manners, not communicative. 2) the librarian's behavior in performing services include not knowing and knowing the will of the user, rigid, putting on a smug face, not listening to the complaint, prejudging negative. 3) Librarian's behavior towards oneself includes, being natural and dressed politely. This film is a film that contains elements of education and moral especially for the librarian, which is depicted in scenes yag displayed therein.
