Abstract

This research is aimed to determine the effect of Creative Problem Solving model (CPS) of physics learning result on students of SMAN 5 Yogyakarta on dynamic electrical. This research is quasi experiment with nonequivalent control group design. The variable in this research consists of independent variable called creative problem solving learning model and dependent variable is student learning result. Population in this research is 10th grade of State Senior High School 5 Yogyakarta academic year 2015/2016. Sampling was done by random sampling technique, selected XB class as experiment class and XC class as control class. Data collection technique in this research using tests with pretest and posttest as data collection instruments. The data analyzing technique used parametric statistics independent t-test and normalize gain (N-Gain). The results of this research indicated that creative problem solving learning model able to give effect to student learning result on dynamic electrical. The effect is known from the result of t-test showing the t value (sig. 2-tailed) 3.27. The difference in the students' physics learning result can be seen with the N-Gain value category. The experimental class using creative problem solving model has an average N-Gain value of 0.74 with high category. And the control class has average N-Gain value of 0.37 with medium category
