Abstract

This study is research of development of whiteboard animation video. Whiteboard animation video is a video that in the show like people are writing on the board. This study has two purposes, namely to (1) developing a multimedia for physics learning based whiteboard animation video temperature and heat, (2) to know the appropriateness of multimedia for physics learning based whiteboard animation video temperature and heat. The development procedure in this study refers to the Luther-Sutopo procedure consisting of the stage of concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. The research instruments are validation sheet and open assesssment. Validation and assessment were conducted by three material experts and three media experts. The results of this study are (1) The product is a multimedia for physics learning based whiteboard animation video temperature and heat, which consists of 13 videos with a duration of 4 – 5 minutes. (2) The appropriateness of multimedia for physics learning based whiteboard animation video based on the assessment of material experts and media experts, states that whiteboard animation video appropriate to be used as a learning resource.
