Abstract

All government activities in the Office of Communications and Information Bantul district using internet connection service. To support these activities required reliable wireless LAN performance. The implementation of Quality of Service (QoS) is a perfect solution of the above statement. To find out how big the QoS in the office of information and communications services bantul district, then should be done an analysis of measurement of QoS parameters. Stages of research conducted is to conduct needs analysis through interviews and observation. The interviews were conducted together with the head of the Bantul kominfo service while the observation was done through the distribution of questionnaires at 4 points such as Bantul sub-district, ringinharjo village, spatial planning office, and inspectorate. After obtaining the result from requirement analysis then doing QoS analysis with 4 parameter of QoS that is jitter, delay, packet loss, and throughput and the last is conclusion. After analyzed it can be concluded that the performance of QoS (Quality of Service) wireless LAN network at kominfo bantul produces average jitter parameter value of 3173,7 ms and delay parameter equal to 1144,7 ms so that in category of TIPHON standard enter in bad category. for packet loss of parameter is 2.5% so in good category.
