Abstract

Sugar is an important commodity in agriculture and is one of the basic needs of society. Because it is a basic necessity, the production of sugar must be maximized so that the needs of the community are met. In producing sugar there are several variables that need to be considered include the area of land, yield, the amount of sugarcane, crystal, and other petrified materials. Systems with the application of fuzzy logic can be one solution to help determine sugar production. The first step to predict the production of sugar by Mamdani method is to determine the input variables and output variables that are set firmly. Then change the input variable to fuzzy set with fuzzification process. In the case study discussed in this thesis defuzyfication process using Centroid method is the method of fuzzy affirmation where in the withdrawal of the solution obtained by taking the fuzzy regional center point. The accuracy of result from case studies have been done, it can be seen that prediction of built sistem have accuracy 85.9% with result of sistem calculation by using matlab application. Furthermore, the results of sugar production prediction can be used as an illustration to determine the production of sugar.
