Abstract

This research is important to do because one of the aims in BI Corner program itself is that the level of financial literacy program recipients (in this case the student) has increased. It is something that needs to be realized. If the power of financial literacy has increased, the students will be more understanding in accessing financial institutions. Therefore, by knowing the perceptions of UIN Yogyakarta and UGM students as BI Corner users, this research will directly know the extent of understanding the financial literacy of students, evaluate the program of BI Corner in UIN Yogyakarta and UGM, and also know one of the elements of information processing to be the meaning of (perception) in the process of intrapersonal communication that occurs within UIN Yogyakarta and UGM students. The result of this research can certainly be a reference or consideration for other parties who want to create a better program. This research has the aim. That is to know how student perception of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta and University of Gadjah Mada toward the program of Corporate Social Responsibility BI Corner through financial literacy. The research method that is used in this research is qualitative research method with descriptive approach. The methods of data collection that have been used consist of interview, literature study, and documentation. While the method of data validity uses triangulation method of data source. Based on the results of the research that has been done by refering to the theory of Alo Liliweri about the stages of perception that is stimulation, organization, interpretation-evaluation, memory, and recall. It is known that the perceptions of UIN Yogyakarta and UGM students on the use of BI Corner through financial literacy show similarity, where UIN Yogyakarta and UGM students have been literacy their financial.
