Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the significant difference of emotional social capability between group which is learned through the method of art therapy group with group which is taught through conventional learning of class B students of TK IT Assalam Murtigading Sanden Bantul Yogyakarta. The type of this research is Quasi Experimental research which the population of all students in class B in IT TK Assalam Murtigading Sanden Bantul Yogyakarta, amounting to 16 students in class B group Strobery and B students of group B Mangga group which amounted to 16 students. The emotional social capability data of the students is obtained by an emotional social test instrument equipped with an assessment rubric. The result of the final test of learning (posttest) is known that the average value of emotional social capability of experimental group is 70,06 and control group is 62,93. The data is then analyzed using T test statistic, obtained t_ (count t_table) (5,158  2,042) Then there is a significant difference in emotional social capability between groups that are learned through the method of art therapy group with groups that are taught through conventional methods in learning aspects of emotional social skills of students B grade TK IT Assalam Murtigading Sanden Bantul Yogyakarta. So it can be concluded that emotional social learning with the method of art therapy group affects the emotional social skills of students B class in kindergarten IT Assalam Murtigading Sanden Bantul Yogyakarta.
