Abstract

The measuring of river water volume is generally using insitu method or spot measuring. Those methods of measuring have some infirmities, so that needed system technology of monitoring to monitor the water volume of river. Related to the potential of disaster, using telematri method is more available than others, in addition to the employees of monitoring are secure, the method is more efficient about the time, energy, and expense. The research is about prototype as an early warning system of the flood used ultrasonic censor which can be accesed by the internet. The research aim to make a prototype as an early warning system using censor HC-SR04, NodeMCU, Arduino Uno, Modul SIM800L, sun cells and IoT technology (Internet of Things), and to know the accurateness and preciseness of prototype as an early warning system of the flood. The information of river water volume in it‟s test represented by water reservoir will be shown in the freeboard page. The test method is commited by step of characteristic test of early warning system of the flood, after that made the test of prototype as an early warning system of the flood in the water reservoir by draining the water continuously while the data test are taken per minute. The prototype as an early warning system of the flood show four level of water river volume. In the highest level, the early warning system of the flood will warn through call phone as a danger sign. The prototype as an early warning system of the flood have an accuracy of 99,9512% and a precision of 98,2556%, these mind that the prototype as an early warning system of the flood saturated in the international standard and national standard.
