Abstract

Snare price offering strategy hereinafter reffered to as SPHJ is marketing strategy which are occur at pre-transaction stage that aim to bring in as many potential customers as possible. The tactic in the strategy focuses more on inclusion price than on determining price. In practice the price inclusion applied there are certain things that snare and cannot be known directly by potential customers, so appear deceit element. Based on this ignorance, it is often happen that some potential consumers experiencing refraction psychology in the form of illusion of price (price illusion), causing encouragement to make purchase. This research is included in qualitative research that aims to reveal facts in the field which is supported by the sources of literature as a study in analizing the price illusion in the snare price offering strategy according to Islamic law. The data technique of data collection which is used in this study is in the form of direct observation and direct communication (interview) to obtain objectivity against the results of research. In determining the sample, the researcher used accidental sampling in order to make the direct data obtained from the respondent who felt directly, In addition, the data analysis technique in this research is using abstractivebased logic that depart from the special to the general. According to the results of the study, exist various of SPHJ concepts are applied by some business targets in Yogyakarta anad surrounding, they are such as: the installation of prices on products that are not worth the size of the nominal price with the size of writing unbalanced descriptions, product price claims, and others. Basically, SPHJ is incompatible with the rule, which Islam teaches that a good purpose (gayah) must be pursued in a good way (wasilah) as well. Buying and selling is a good goal, but SPHJ as a way to realize the sale and purchase has resulted in price illusion resulting in misunderstanding of price and transaction object. various of SPHJ concepts are contains garar and ghisysy element are there vagueness and deceit. Besides that, SPHJ is not reflect mandate of Law Number 8 of 1999 about consumer protection that seller must give a clear and correct information for consumer. The contract was formed from SPHJ injure willingness principle (attârâd î), whereas at-târâdî is main principle in the trade.
