Abstract

In general, the aims of this research were to know the utility success of Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) in Koha library automation system with Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) method by users point of view in Muhammadiyah Surakarta University's Library. The population in this research was user who is a library member and have borrowed a collection in the library the amount was about 8.144 members. Based on the population, sample were taken using Slovin formula, sample obtained was about 99 members. The sampletaking method in this research used non-probability type of sampling with purposive sampling technique. The data collective technique used questionnaire, observation, interview, and documentation. The variable in this research was the utilization of Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) in Koha library automation system by users at Muhammadiyah Surakarta University's Library. The results of this research shows that the utilization of Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) in Koha library automation system by users at Muhammadiyah Surakarta University's Library, overall got the average of total score was about 2,93 that is categorized as good. Based on that matter is suggested to the librarian to pay more attention toward shelving collection activity in order to be customized with information in the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC).
