Abstract

This research aims to determine the acceptance of Dspace-based institutional repository in the Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta‟s library based on the Gahtani model. Based on the Gahtani model, user acceptance of Dspace-based institutional repository can be measured through variables in the method. This research is a quantitative research. Variable in this research consist of two independent variables, they are perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness and also a dependent variable user acceptance. The sample uses in this study amounted 100 respondents with a data collection method in the form of a questionnaire. Data analysis in this study uses technical analysis of mean and grand mean and multiple correlation analysis using SPSS application version 23. The result of this research shows perceived ease of use variable, perceived usefulness and user acceptance, are in the "good" categories. There is a positive and significant relationship between perceived ease of use variable and user acceptance variable with a correlation coefficient of 0,395. This value is in the “low” relationship category. There is a positive and significant relationship between usefulness variable and user acceptance variable with a correlation coefficient of 0,379. This value is in the “low” relationship category.There is a positive and significant relationship between perceived ease of use variable, perceived usefulness variable and user acceptance variable with a correlation coefficient of 0,444. This value is in the “middle” relationship category.
