Abstract

Sharia BPR currently has challenges to innovate and improve performance in order to increase public confidence in investing funds and financing. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Islamicity Performance Index on the profitability of BPRS in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The population in this study were all BPRS in the Special Region of Yogyakarta and the samples obtained were 11 BPRS. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the OJK and BI websites. The analytical tool used in this study is panel data regression using Eviews 10 software. The results showed that the profit sharing ratio and equitable distribution ratio variables affected profitability. But the variable zakat performance ratio and Islamic Income vs. Non Islamic Income does not affect profitability.
