Abstract

Learning media development is one of the appropriate ways to improve the quality of education Videoscribe-based animation learning media is one of the efforts to help students understand the lesson. This media is included in the category of audio visual media or educational videos with unit length, weight and time material. The purpose of this study was 1) to know the learning media used in SD N Demangan, 2) to develop and measure the effectiveness of learning media based on the video of the suscribe animation material of unit length, weight, and time in class II students of SD N Demangan Yogyakarta. This research is a solid 5-stage model development research by Mrs. Sri Sumarni which includes, Analysis, Design, Validation, Field Trials and Dissemination. The sample in this study was the second grade students of SD N Demangan Yogyakarta. To find out the influence of animated video-based learning media suscribe to students' understanding of the material unit length, weight, and time used the pre-test and post-test only design. This type of research is Reserch and Development, which refers to Borg and Gall model that has been modified by Mrs. Sri Sumarni into a steady 5-stage model. The sample in this research is the second grade students of SD N Demangan Yogyakarta. To know the effect of learning media based on video animation suscribe to student's understanding to material unit length, weight, and time in use pre-test and post-test only design. The result of research of learning media based on video animation suscribe class II on material unit length, weight, and time fulfill criterion very valid with result of test of material expert reaches level of validity and 83,3%, media expert reach 87,5%, subject matter reach 92 , 3%, and field trial results reached 94.3%. In the Paired Samples T-Test test before and after treatment in class II A which shows a significance value of 0.000 so <0.05 which means Ho is rejected and Ha accepted Thus, there is a significant difference to the developed teaching materials. This indicates that the product developed has high qualification of the validity level, so that the teaching medium is suitable for learning.
