Abstract

The dynamics of Islamic banking show a fairly good perception especially among Muslim. However, this development is unlikely to follow their preferences towards strengthening Islamic banking, especially from the aspect of knowledge and religiosity. This study aims to examine how much influence knowlegde, religiosity, and promotion of interest in saving at Islamic banks is the „Aisyiyah member Widodaren Sub-district, Ngawi Regency, East Java. The research is quantitative research. Data collection is done using questionnaires and interviews. The technique used was random sampling, with a sample of 100 responden from the „Aisyiyah member Widodaren Sub-district, Ngawi Regency. Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. Test the hypothesis in this study using a T-test statistic for testing the partial regression coefficient, and F-test statistics to test the influence of simultaneously or together with a level of significance of 5%. It also conduced a classic assumption test that includes a test of normality, multicollinearity, and hererocedasticity using the SPSS version 21.0. As for the result of the study, namely: first, the influence of knowledge on interest in saving in Islamic banks shows the significance value obtained from 0.003 < 0.005 and tcount > ttable (3.092 > 1.985). This means that knowledge has a significant positive influence on interest in saving in Islamic banking; second, religiosity towards interest in saving in Islamic banks shows a significance value obtained from 0.938 > 0.005 ant tcount > ttable (0.078 < 1.985). This means that the religiosity has no significant effect on interest in saving in Islamic banking; third, promotion of saving interest in Islamic bank shows the significance of the value obtained for 0.000 < 0.005 ant tcount > ttable (8.761 > 1.985). The means that promotion has a significant positive effect on interest in saving in Islamic banking.
