Abstract

Human resources are an important element as a driving force in the company's operations. Therefore, human resources must be managed intensively and comprehensively since planning, receiving, and developing. The optimal contribution in job performance is very necessary to achieve company success. Job training programs, compensation systems, employee engagement, and job satisfaction are factors that influence employee job performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of job training, compensation, and employee engagement on employee job performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. This research is a survey research at BTN Syariah Branch Yogyakarta. The sample used in the study was 35 respondents. The research method used is non probability sampling, while the sampling technique is purposive sampling. The results of the F test in the study show that job training, compensation, and employee engagement variables simultaneously affect job satisfaction and employee job performance. The results of the t test on the employee job performance and the results of the t test on job satisfaction show the same results, that only the job training variables are not influential, while the other variables have a significant positive effect. Path analysis shows that compensation and employee engagement variables have a significant positive effect on employee job performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable, while job training variables have no effect.
