Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of benefits, convenience, trust, and income on the interest of the people of Sukabumi City in the use of Payment Instruments Using Cards in Islamic banks. The population in this study were all the people of Sukabumi City in general. The samples in this study were 100 respondents measured by the Slovin method. The research method used is quantitative research methods. This research variable used two variables, namely exogenous variables and endogenous variables. For exogenous variables (x) include (x1) benefits, (x2) convenience, (x3) trust and (x4) income. For the endogenous variable (y) in this study, there was interest in using Card Based Payment Instrumen (CPBI) in Islamic banks. This study useD primary data obtained from questionnaires and then analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) in the Covarian Based SEM approach. The results of the study showed that the benefits and income variables have a positive and significant effect on the interest in using CBPI in Islamic banks. While the ease and trust variables do not affect the interest in the use of CBPI.
