Abstract
College Student of Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University who wants to do a research and using the facilities of Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University’s Integrated Laboratory is required to pass through the research permission process at laboratory so it could done as good as standard operating procedure with filling a research permission form at laboratory. But in the way to get it was less efficient. Therefore it needs a management information system which aims an easier procedure for college student who needs research permission at laboratory. The method of this research is extreme programming method. This method developed by means to make the communication with costumers easier and a fast adaptation in changes that happened in development. The software development process with extreme programming included: planning, design, coding, and testing. This management information system has features for managing research permission data at laboratory. The result of this research shows that the developed system could make the procedure of passing through the research permission for college student easier.
