Abstract

Research on Javanese physiographic analysis using EMAG2 v3 data aims to determine the physiographic relations of Java with EMAG2 v3 magnetic data and basin patterns in West Java. EMAG2 v3 data is satellite measurement data taken from NOAA. The method used is the magnetic method. Magnetic method is one method that can be used to describe subsurface. This study uses administrative maps, regional geological maps, physiographic maps and magnetic anomaly maps from EMAG2 v3 data for results analysis. Processing data using Geosoft Oasis Montaj software The results of processing raw data are anomalous map analysis of Javanese physiography and modeling 2D subsurface crossings to the south to north. The subsurface 2D section incision passes through 5 physiographic zones and 5 regencies in West Java and anomaly values ranging from -50 nT to 250 nT are obtained. The modeling results show rock susceptibility values and layer thickness. The analysis of the results was divided into two analyzes, namely analysis of rock unity and physiographic analysis. The results of analysis of rock unity are divided into three layers of rock, namely metamorphic layer, sediment layer, volcanic layer and alluvial layer. The volcanic and alluvial layers are in the surface layer. Sediment layers also appear on the surface, flanked by volcanic and alluvial rock layers. The results of the analysis of rock units are reinforced with references that produce similarities between the two. The results of physiographic analysis on 2D cross section pass through 5 physiographic zones, namely the Southern Mountains Zone, Central Depression Zone, Quaternary Volcanic Zone, Bogor Anticlinorium Zone, and North Java Alluvial Zone. The results of physiographic analysis are reinforced by data from processing. The pattern of the basin obtained from the incision is a pattern of the Basin of North West Java.
