Abstract
The wider internet users in Indonesiathe number of video calls is increasing, especially in Facebook video calls and Skype video calls. This increase is based on very rapid technological developments, especially PCs, Laptops and Smartpones that use wireless internet access or wireless. The use of video calls through wireless networks is different from cable networks because the characteristics of wireless networks are limited compared to cable networks, and the characteristics of video call transmission that require different handling than the transmission of text and data in general. As an initial step to achieve an optimal effort to improve Internet network services, measurement results are needed that represent the average value of Internet network service performance against changes in QOS parameter values when accessing video call services on 4G networks. This study applies the method of literature study wherein this method the author conducts studies from the internet, journals, and the final project on Quality Of Service. QOS parameters analyzed consist of Bandwidth, Throughput, Delay, Jitter and Packet loss using Wireshark and Nettools for the testing phase. From the results of this study, the differences were not so significant between each video call service. Although not so significant Skype video call services have better results than Facebook video call services. From the results of this study, the two video call services can be used as a consideration for the user in choosing the use of video calls according to their individual needs.
